The staff was warm and professional. Food at the restaurant was excellent. The Sunday roast was one of the best I have eaten. The spa was awesome. My room was warm and spotlessly clean. It also felt very comfortable.

breakfast was great with friendly staff present there.
I stayed for three nights and noticed the hotel looks tired now. our executive room had a loose bath tap and a wobbly toilet roll holder as well. walls were grubby and needed a spruce up. The whole hotel needed it.

the breakfast offered a perfect start to the day. there was something for everyone. i liked the swimming facilities.. the outdoor jacuzzi was a highlight, even in less than perfect weather. the staff members were always friendly and ready to assist.
i was initially allocated the wrong room. it had a single double bed instead of a twin as booked. also, i was expected to pay a car parking fee despite the inconvenience. the chair in the correct room had a noticeable stain.

the classic triple room was clean and well presented. the bed offered great comfort, and i slept well each night. breakfast included marmite after i requested it, which i found thoughtful.
i found the car parking fee a bit much, considering the issues some guests experienced.

the breakfast selection was quite extensive with buffet items and hot choices. i tried the porridge, and it was cooked perfectly.. i also saw full english, eggs royale and eggs benedict on offer.

the staff was welcoming and friendly, it made a real difference. the team seemed enthusiastic, and that added to the cheerful atmosphere. one staff member, tammy, seemed particularly in control.

the spa appeared to be one of the best features. i saw the pool and gym were quite busy on the weekend. white company toiletries were provided; i found that to be a nice touch.
